Q How do I measure before I place my order?

A To get started, first choose the window covering you are interested in. When measuring to fit blinds or shades to your windows, it is important to remember a few key things. Decide if you want an inside mount or an outside mount before you begin the measuring process. A steel measuring tape is much more accurate than cloth measuring tape. Always measure to the nearest 1/8 inch. Don't round to a half or whole inch. Be careful about transposing measurements. Be sure to always have width and height clearly marked. And remember: always put your width measurement first, and height last (W x H). Then read our Measuring Guide. We also offer video tutorials below and on our youtube channel!

Q Do you have installation instructions for your products?

A All our blinds are manufactured and customized here in the USA.

Q What color is the back of the Blackout Shades?

A White.

Q Does the color of the Blackout Shade have any affect on it's light-filtering strength?

A No! Regardless of the front design or color, ALL Blackout Shades block 100% of light! This same rule applies to our Light Filtering Shade as well.

Q Do your offer a warranty on motors?

A Yes! Our motors come with 3 year warranty.

Q What is your refund policy?

A When it comes to purchasing new blinds or shades for your home we know quality is key. In addition, all our blinds are custom made. For this reason returns are very difficult to resell. We do have a 20% restocking fee on all returns. Please make sure you have the most precise measurements.


Q What is your Damaged/Lost Shipments policy?

A All damaged or lost shipments must be reported to Springblinds.com within seven business days of the delivery. We reserve the right to request documentation showing the damage of the delivery, and at our discretion, either repair or replace the product at no cost.


Q What is covered by the Warranty?

A • Original defects in materials or workmanship for the original purchaser currently owning the product, assuming the product was properly installed and operated.
• For Five (5) Years: All internal mechanisms, components, and brackets, Somfy motorization components and accessories, draperies, fabric covered cornices, and valances, soft shades and accessories, and exterior solar shades (excluding weather and wind damages).
• Repairs under this warranty will be made with like or similar parts, Shipping and Handling fee may be applied.


Q What is not covered by the Warranty?

A • Normal wear and tear.
• Damage caused by abuse, accidents, alterations, misuse, weather and wind damages, and failure to follow instructions for measurement, cleaning, or maintenance.
• Slight color variations; natural variations in color, grain, or weave of natural materials.
• Slight warpage of the blinds and wooden blinds; excessive warpage caused by high humidity.
• Shipping or labor costs incurred by taking product down, re-measuring, or re-installation.
• Fabric used for “Customer's Own Material” orders.
