The RTS dry-contact Interface can be used to communicate between home automation, commercial controls, or other third-party systems and SOMFY’s RTS products. Once a command is activated, an RTS signal is sent to the RTS product to set it in motion as desired.

THE SOMFY RTS DRY CONTACT INTERFACE HOME AUTOMATION INTERFACE DEVICE FOR SOMFY’S PRODUCTS THAT ARE COMPATIBLE WITH RTS RF TECHNOLOGY. THE SOMFY DRY CONTACT INTERFACE OPERATES THE SIMILARLY TO THE TELIS 1 CONTROL EXCEPT THAT YOU CAN CONNECT RELAYS OR EXTERNAL BUTTONS TO THE WIRES TO CONTROL THE MOTOR. THE DRY CONTACT INTERFACE HAS A SINGLE RTS CHANNEL THAT AN UNLIMITED NUMBER OF SHADES CAN BE ASSIGNED TO BUT ALL SHADES ON THIS SINGLE CHANNEL WILL ALWAYS BE CONTROLLED AT THE SAME TIME. WHEN USED WITH THE SOMFY RTS MOTORS IT CONTROLS UP, DOWN, STOP AND CUSTOMER PREFERRED LOCATION COMMANDS. RTS TECHNOLOGY RF CONTROL DEVICES HAVE A 65 RANGE THROUGH 2 CONCRETE WALLS AND NEARLY A 100 CLEAR PATH RANGE. THIS DEVICE IS PACKAGED IN A WEATHERPROOF ENCLOSURE. NO EXTERNAL POWER SUPPLY IS REQUIRED. THE DRY CONTACT INTERFACE OPERATES ON AN INCLUDED LITHIUM COIN CELL BATTERY.

To get started, first choose the window covering you are interested in. When measuring to fit blinds or shades to your windows, it is important to remember a few key things. Decide if you want an inside mount or an outside mount before you begin the measuring process. A steel measuring tape is much more accurate than cloth measuring tape. Always measure to the nearest 1/8 inch. Don't round to a half or whole inch. Be careful about transposing measurements. Be sure to always have width and height clearly marked.
